Anybody experiencing torrents that come up fast and then slowly dies out. Using uTorrent with encryption and it comes up nicely and then slowly fizzles out to no data coming in or going out. Usually uploads would be pumping. Not so anymore...

Dunno if it just the uptake affecting us all or perhaps new shaping rules from Telkom. There seems to be some experimentation afoot. Torrents are very touch and go at the moment. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but the net effect is always no or very little data coming down the pipe after a little while.

Same problem, also using utorrent. Starts of quick and probably a quarter to half way is fizzles out to next to nothing. Thought it was my connection or port forwarding.

Have you enabled port forwarding on your router. Using Ktorrent (on Linux) I was getting < 10Kbps until I forwaded the ports. Now, it ranges from anything from 20K to 45K (on 384K connection)
