I'm not so clued up in this area, so calling on the pro's! Third client now with the same problem, old Samsung PABX and sloooooow Internet connection. Previously I suggested that they get a direct line or split the line before it gets to the box. Any other suggestions?

Have had that at a few clients before the days of ISDN and ADSL. Nothing mcuh you can do aside from running a "direct extension". The steal one of the incomming lines and route it directly without passing it through the PABX. Means your switchboard has one less incomming line. Funny that its 14000K, I always saw it clamped at 21000K.
Idea...Convert the fax line to ISDN and use both analogue channels??

Thanks for the reply Phaff, I suppose one can split the line and let one line still go to the box and the other directly to the modem, but I'll leave that to the techie. This box really seems oooooold, that might explain 14000k, but it is the second time I've seen that. ISDN? Mmmmm.... Another thing, the PC got auto update on, no wonder it takes 3 hours to get the email :D
