Thinking about doing this.
Lots of fine chips detectable.

Is it worth it?
Getting quoted prices between 6-8 k for frontal area.
Should I invest that to do a respray later on?

Any pros and cons.

Which brands are good.

Very important...Will it show yellow on a white car?

Reason I haven't done it. Different shades of paint when it's applied. Wouldn't say yellow but yeah :D

Will provide some decent feedback regarding brands in the AM but Llumar and AutoArmour are the ones that spring to mind with decent reviews.

You want to respray a Porsche? Well that would see the market value dive into it's moer.

How about just living with it and driving it and not panicking so much?

Failing that, get the wrap.

I work for a Panel Shop. We only use AutoArmour, VPS or 3M.... Those are the 3 top brands.

Worth it? That is another question. Remember that even with these plastic the stone can still make a small dent or if it does not it can also make like a small hole in the plastic film.

There are also other cons like dirt settling on the edges. Very noticeable on white cars I would say. It also messes up the shine. If you have black car it would make the black where the plastic is stuck look dull without any shine.

I would say just rather save a bit of money each month and have the bonnet,2x fenders and bumper resprayed. Today's autobody paint systems are pretty good and offers lifetime warranty on paintwork not stone chip free though.....
