Parallel universes. Fact or fiction?

CERN's LHC is or has just concluded tests in one of their detectors to detect black holes and this will be a fingerprint to the existence of parallel universes. If found, it will explain where the hidden mass is hiding. This will also be a clue as to why the gravity force in our dimension is weaker than expected as it would leak to the other dimensions.

Perhaps this will remain a pseudo science if not found but China is to build a LHC twice as big as CERN that will reveal much more than CERN can. Sadly, I have to wait till 2020 for this.

Neither, its a hypothesis yet to be proven correct or incorrect by way of scientific experimentation.

Of course it is but at least the hundreds of scientists at CERN believe that parallel universes may be there. This will be a very sore injury to skeptics.

Skeptics of what?

You're making the mistake of thinking people skeptical of one subject, are skeptical of all subjects.

Eish. Language.

If it could be proven it wouldn't be a truly parallel universe - there'd have to be a point or points of intersection with ours, ie where the parallelism collapses.

Which assumes those points of intersection comply with our definition or understanding of what such an intersection entails. Or there could be intermediary states. A purgatory for dimensions, if you will.

What "all subjects" was I referring to? I was only discussing this one.

Just spent an hour freaking myself out reading some Mandela Effect stuff, and there's plenty of believers that are linking to LHC these days.

I would have phrased it as "This will be a very sore injury to people skeptical about parallel universes."
