Inquiry into South Africa's emergency power programme

Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Mineral Resources and Energy has agreed in principle to the terms of reference for an inquiry into the awarding of energy contracts related to the procurement of energy through the Risk Mitigation Independent Power Purchase Procurement Programme (RMIPPPP).

Only really useful term of reference would be to find out how much money uncle gweezy was going to pocket for trying to absolutely fsck this country over again.

This needs to be followed up and not sidelined with more salacious news

While they set up this inquiry, someone is giving the various "stakeholders" a heads up on what they need to make "disappear". Paper shredders are quite effective and every finance department should have at least one industrial strength one in the office. Many can indeed overheat and might even cause a small fire...

Today my fellow South Africans I present to you, our plan to set up a special war room that will initiate the formation of a command council, that will form a special task-team, with the aim of creating a commission, to organise an inquiry into the state of the special investigative unit, which is seeking to understand the ongoing dealings of the committee's findings.

No need for an inquiry - it's all due to Uncle Gweezy having way too much influence and say in matters.

What kind of knobhead managerial lookalike types needs to agree on an inquiry into something that's clearly a disaster caused by their predecessors affecting the country that should be part of their jobs?

Are they not government, do we need to lick their collective arse to properly govern like we pay them (bloody handsomely) to do?

WTF are they spending out tax dollars on.. refreshments?
