Has anybody used this before - I need to create a new partition on my HDD and don't want to re-install winXP. Will this program do the job for me?

You should get GParted Live CD. It's a bootable Linux Live CD that will do pretty much all your partition/hd things. Around 30mb I think

I have just finished doing Reviews on Partitioning Managers,
and yes it's an excellent program...BootIT NG is another Excellent Partitioning Manager which allows you to install windows XP on both Partitions(If you wanted to)...

Swissknife and Ranish are Freeware...
