Password-swiping app made it onto official iOS and Android stores

The vetting processes at Apple and Google failed to flag an app that could steal usernames and passwords.

BC reported that the developer has apologised for posting ads to users’ feeds without permission, claiming it happened for reasons he didn’t understand
