I'm trying to setup Pastel Payroll, under Company Parameters/Statutory I entered the 8 digit UIF Registration number 0000000/0 and under UIF reference number I enter the same number without the "/" but I get an error "invalid UIF reference Number"
I called the UIF call centre and was told the numbers I entered are correct and that I should contact Pastel. I called Pastel and spoke to 2 different agents who said the UIF Registration & reference numbers should be different. I called UIF dept again to enquire but they say thats the number that should be used.
UIF Registration Number 8 characters.
UIF Reference same 8 characters, I tried entering a 0 and UO infront of the number but no luck. I also tried entering the number with a U in front and a 1 at the end, no luck
Anyone here have experience setting up a company in Pastel Payroll ?
