Brighton Elliot Moyo, the Zimbabwean man in the viral resurrection video involving South-African based pastor, Alph Lukau, has reportedly died again, this time for real.
According to reports YEN.com.gh sighted in Zimbabwean media on Monday, April 8, 2019, Elliot died sometime last week in a village called St Luke’s in South Africa.
Elliot who was married without a child was reportedly buried on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
“His stomach started swelling and didn’t stop for three days and on the third day, he died,” a local newspaper, H-Metro quoted a family member as saying.

So is he planning a "comeback"?

Well, easters just around the corner... but I think he's already used up his 'on the third day'... unless you get multiple tries on it for when you do it the wrong way round? /shrug

The problem is that news from Zimbabwe can hardly be trusted, this could just be another one of his stunts.

This has been confirmed, he was sick prior to the 'resurrection' but after the event he kept fleeing hospitals for fear of arrest so never got proper medical care.

What has been confirmed? Is he really dead or up to his old tricks again?

RIP ol' lad. Your Nigerian movie-like theatrics entertained many for few weeks. Where was Alf when you needed his magic touch the most...?

Yes, they got info that he was wanted by SAPS
And you trust their confirmation? A little bit of dosh goes a long way with the cops these days. If he's fleeing responsibility, then 'death' is the quickest way to quieten that down.

Two arrests made related to Alph Lukau’s ‘resurrection’ church

Two suspects have been arrested and will be appearing in court on Wednesday in relation to a case involving Pastor Alph Lukau’s Alleluia International Ministries church in Johannesburg.

Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Kay Makhubela confirmed to The Citizen that suspects had been detained, but advised that further details should be pursued through the National Prosecuting Authority, who have taken over the case.

The suspects can only be identified once they have appeared in open court.

The church sprang to prominence in February when Lukau staged an alleged resurrection at his church.

Lukau referred to the “resurrectee” as Elliot, although the Zimbabwean man in question has also been called Brighton Moyo and allegedly passed away earlier this month in Zimbabwe under a different name.

Lukau and his lawyers have claimed that Elliot had been totally unknown to Lukau prior to the “miracle”.

Subsequent investigations saw numerous allegations of fraud and deception levelled against the church.
