Right! So I decided to give WoW a bash, went a got myself a copy yesterday, and have since been downloading patch after patch from the local servers.. (Really, if I see many more of these darn things, I'll scream. :p)

Anyhow! Got myself up to 2.4.3, and downloaded ftp://ftp.is.co.za/pub/isgaming/Patches/World%20of%20Warcraft/EU/PC/2.4.3-to3.0.1-TBC-EU-Update/ that to get myself up to 3.0.1.. my only problem was, the only thing in it was something called "Installer Tome 2.mpq".. what exactly do I do with this? :O Any ideas?

(I've got a horrible feeling I've downloaded the wrong thing.. :S)

Best to get the game files from someone who has the current build.

The cool thing about the WoW game client is that you can give anyone a copy of your game folder. As soon as they run the launcher.exe it automatically sets itself up, including shortcuts and whatnot. Just delete their WTF and Interface folders to reset everything to factory settings, and you're away.

FWIW, I'm busy backing up a clean copy of my WOW folder, and it's squeezed on to 4 DVDRs (including recovery data should the discs ever have read issues).
