That's the Chrysler building.
Empire state building is a little taller.
I always confused the two until I visited.

I highly recommend a walk up 5th Avenue and a trip up the Empire State Elevator to the obs deck. Incredible!

Easy to differentiate between the Empire State and Chrysler buildings. They Chrysler building is the one with the fish gills for a roof - the ugly one, just like their cars
