Oooh do be careful. I don't advocate killing spiders unless there are kids or pets around that can get bitten.

Busy wrapping it up. The beetle is still alive.

Nah - brown button spider. Black button spider has the orange dot on it's back... that's Latrodectus Geometricus - with the geometric hourglass marking underneath. Not as bad but still a nasty bite. You can also identify it by the egg sacs. The Geometricus has round spiky egg sacs while the black button spider has a round smooth egg sac.
