Nice capture, if you ever get the chance you should visit butterfly world - plenty of chance to practice macro shots like that. You'll get to learn what your camera is capable of and it can be quite rewarding.

Great pics. That parrot 1:1 is particularly stunning detail.

Remember, dare to be different, it's quite rewarding sometimes

No doubt they look cool and can be appreciated for the surreal value. But I want to be taken to where you were at the time, not a fantasy world.

iPhone HDR is so realistic in comparison.

Nice pic, just a pity that one doesn't really know what's in focus with iPhone 6s close ups.

I used the Camera + app for that shot. It is a lot clearer and accurate than the default app due to a nifty little zoom effect and offers more control. I hasten to add that it doesn't use the digital zoom in the actual photograph, just the effect in the app when focusing.

I was disappointed with the HDR pics I took because they really did not carry the impact of the scene. However that said I left them alone and uploaded them as shot. Personally I feel the post processing done on the Snapdragon is not as poppy as on HiSilicon (Huawei), but I guess that would blow your mind.

Perhaps the processing done on the iPhone is even more toned down? Guess the MotoG hits the perfect spot then?

Anyway, here is another one with HDR on only this time some bits of navy and red.
