Shame about the hard drive. At least it burnt well. I'd have thought the platters would have survived? Admittedly I have no idea what they are made of, the glob of whateveritis looks a lot like lead, only less dull.

The platter and bottom part melted together into that silver blob, or the platter is the small blob. This was as single platter 80GB drive.

My wife took the Vodafone Smart Prime 7 to the aquarium today. It's the kind of phone that if you spend a week or more with it you learn to overcome it's issues - like the weak autofocus and capacitive buttons.
