I did before, but not on that phone, it is just so weak and that fixed focus 3mpx camera is not great at all.

Moto G3. I'll have to part with this phone soon, can't remember when last I had a phone for more than 6 months let alone a year. My dad needs a phone with good photographic abilities and seeing as my mom has my 8GB Moto G3 I thought I'd help my old man out with the 16GB one I've been using since last year.

My question is what do I replace it with? I want clean android (no touchwiz, EMUI, MIUI etc) and a good camera - 12mp at least and preferably a Sony sensor. With no more Orange store where does on get such phones?

I know you go for budget phones, but the V20 is remarkable for the price, compared to the S7edge

Runs Optimus UI. I need pure Android. Might actually try the Vodafone Ultra, although that smells like Omnivision sensor, not Sony.

Pity Orange Store closed, the Acer Zest I got for my wife a while back has one of the best 8mp cameras I have seen.

Optimus UI is as close as you'll ever come to Pure without actually having Pure. It's very well done with just the right amount of improvements.
Why so hard up for Pure?

No idea then. I thrive on flagship... mediocre means nothing to me

Bought my mother-in-law this: http://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_2-6884.php Xiaomi Redmi 2. Not pure android at all, but a very cool budget phone.

Before the Acer my wife had the Redmi and it is great value for money. Pity about that Chinese UI and lack of updates for it.
