Hi there. I have a question on the pay as you use option. If I opt for the 1gig R50 option. Is that 1gig valid for a month and will expire after the month if not use?

To test out the 7 day trail do I need to give my bank details or only if I want to proceed after the 7 day trail?

So basically, you pay for what you use. You set the limit on the website, in your case 1Gb and if at the end of the month you only use 500mb, then only R25 will be deducted from your bank account, however if you use the full 1Gb then when the limit is reached, you will no longer have Internet connectivity, with the exception of the rain.co.za site to increase your limit. Yes, you need to provide your bank account details for the trial as you have to fully register the sim before you use it.

Hi @SpeedyA and @andreh

Thanks for the response and you're correct @SpeedyA that's how it would work. I would just like to add that the data you set as your gig limit, does not expire. It remains the same until adjusted or used.

If you increase the limit, your bill will be adjusted accordingly however, still maintaining that you will only be charged for what you use. The great thing with Pay As You Use, if you don't use any data, you will not be charged. This is even with the limit being set above R50.

Hope this provides more clarity.
