So. Help me understand the implications, if any? Does this mean one could pay for a Mac etc. by ordering it online at Apple.com directly via payment with Paypal - and having it delivered at Stackry(?)/MyUSAddress etc. for postage to ZA?

Or would Apple pick up that your Paypal address is not based in US/UK?

If not - then no need for one of those Personalised Shopper options? And more importantly, would this potentially open the door to the Apple Refurb store?

The Apple US store does accept non-US credit cards, but they won't send to forwarding agents they know about, so this won't help.

In the App Stores I recall they required a local PayPal account, and you can end up with your card blocked from PayPal if you put in a false billing address, so you couldn't bypass the region restriction.

Joy. Thanks for the feedback. Figured it couldn't be that simple - but was hoping!

Apple US/UK will still arrange the delivery. You might have a problem with the delivery address. I doubt they will deliver to a non US/UK address.

The US one definitely won't. They wouldn't even send an item directly to the UK. They also started blocking orders if they knew the address was a freight forwarder.
