Daily duties:
You will be responsible for installing and supporting this company’s software and related hardware products to its clients.
• Software and Hardware Support: 1st and 2nd line support on payroll software as well as related hardware. Fault finding, solving client’s software problems. Managing follow ups with client dealt with on support issues.
• Testing: Assist with testing the software and related hardware.
• Software Installations: Installations of software and hardware products and related admin. Checking of shortcuts, network links and printers used by relevant software. Installations onsite at clients. Preparation of installation package for new installations. Following up of clients after initial installation to ensure that they are satisfied. Checking setups for new clients. Individual training of clients.
• Training: presenting training classes for groups of clients.
• Assisting with writing manuals
• Assisting with research and development
