You pay peanuts and you get monkeys. Can't believe a company can seriously offer such a pathetic salary for a job description like this.

Unfortunately there are many unemployed people out there who will have no choice but to apply for this. This one isn't that bad either, there are ones were they want a diploma or bsc, ccna, msce etc. etc. and then are only willing to pay you between 7-10k. These companies know these are desperate times for many, and are taking full advantage of it. Despicable behaviour.

Also, this "drivers licence with own vehicle" thing needs to stop. Highly prevalent in most IT support offerings. You are already offering peanuts, now you want a guy to wear and tear his own vehicle as well... I have seen a ridiculous one where they require the vehicle to be reliable and less than 10 years old. If you offer a guy 7000 a month he is not likely going to be driving anything recent. If a company cannot offer you a company car to drive to callouts, then alarm bells should be going off anyway.

The thing is I can't imagine anyone who genuinely has the skills fitting this job description being prepared to put up with a salary of R7k. A salary of R20k would be more realistic.
