Hey Guys

Well the title says it all, I need to sell my PC so I can have some extra cash overseas. Its a mid-range gaming PC that has had some recent upgrades so it still runs everything fine (although Oblivion does make it take strain, then again what mid-range gaming rig doesn't).

Specs are below:

  • Motherboard: GA-8S655FX Ultra (Gigabyte Titan series)
  • CPU: 2.6 Ghz P4 HT (bought 1 1/2 years ago) overclocks nicely
  • RAM: 1 gig of 4 x 256 megs all 400 Mhz (also overclock well) setup like this so RAM runs in dual channel mode (one set of sticks is transcend
  • Graphics card: MSI GeForce 6600 GT 128MB AGP (its the ViVo version: Details
  • Optical: Brand new (4 weeks old) LG 16x Super Multi DVD/CD Rewriter (GSA-4167B)
  • Old media: Standard stiffy drive + no-name DVD-ROm / CD-Writer
  • Hard drive: 120gig new SATA drive (ST3200826AS). Also only 2 months old.
  • Keyboard: Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 (only 6 months old)
  • Monitor: Proline 17inch CrystalView 7Klr (true flat screen) does 1280x1024 85Hz.
  • Sound: Seprate sound card Cobra AW850 Deluxe (Details)
  • PSU: Brand-new 400W PSU (2 months old)
  • Case: All black (as are the drivers) with side panel with plexi-glass window and side mounted fan.
  • Cooling: 2 x Coolermaster dual-ball SAF-B82s for front and side, CPU has Coolermaster Aero 4 and a for exhaust an Aero Blower
  • Extras: Blue cold-cathode in case.
Anything extra you may want to know please message me, the UK thing is bit of a suprise as it was a long shot (hence I've been upgrading and adding to the machine till fairly recently). I'd prefer this machine to go to a gamer who will appreciate it and not to some person off the street so I'm advertising it here before it goes in anywhere else. I know guys here are on the ball and I'll probably get a slightly lower price than from somewhere else but like I said, I've put sweat and blood into this machine and would prefer to see it in a gamer's hands.

Any serious offers (preferably in CT as thats where I live, unless your willing to pay for shipping ... or at least half of shipping) please Private message me, I've got a figure in mind, but then again if its a serious offer I figure you'll know how much the rig is worth :D

Add: Of course given that I'm going away my camera has packed up. Will attempt to put up pics tomorrow to show what the case looks like. I'm not looking for a lot ... R6000 range.

Maybe you could upload a photo of the rig? It may help you sell it faster.

I'd say R6000, not a penny more.

That's equivelant to a R1000 each for main system components, which is alot. I know this pc was a custom project, but there are drawbacks. Like ram not being the same brand and the crappy monitor.

What was the asking price freeek?

Sorry teraside / OsireS, but that's way too steep.

I can build better, brand new for closer to R5k. Not that I'm in the market, but I wouldn't consider anything over R4k.

Ok lets say R4800 (negotiable of course) .. don't forget the coolers (solid copper base coolers with the good thermal paste are not THAT cheap), extra fans etc. And I'd like to see you get a case with a 400W PSU for R200. If you can please let me know where, I can make a fortune reselling them :D

The biggest draw back its a P4! I was thinking his going to want alot like R6000 becoz of all the extra's. Most ppl don't really care abt extra's. I got rid off all sorts of things like that. Makes your pc heavy and full of stuff! I know have 4 hdd's,mobo, cpu, ram, gcard!

Everything else is USB.... but wait why im I talking about my pc again o0
