Do any of you fellow PC gamers ever find yourself positioning your fingers on the WASD keys even when you are not gaming? I just noticed it now but I'm not sure exactly how long I've been actually doing it.

I've been doing it for years. Does it bother you that you do it?

Been doing it for the last 10 years. Also, one time someone tried to play a prank on me by inverting the y axis in windows mouse settings for the desktop... Took me a couple days to realise when I pushed the mouse up the pointer went down :D

lol im not surprised that so many of us would actually be doing it unconsciously but that it would
actually bother one of us, it in no way impedes typing or anything else being done at the time.

Don't you also find that you naturally position your mouse hand with your 2 for fingers spread
and your thumb ready to trigger with your to last fingers a little curled sometimes?

or am i just way to into my gaming?

I'm fairly certain thats how a mouse is held. My natural position is thumb over alt and hand coming in from the left side of the keyboard... mostly for CAD commands and alt-tab.

LOL, I do it too. Never even noticed.

However, now I might know why the letters on A and S on my work PC are gone. All the other keys still have their printed letters perfectly.

:D Good to know I'm not the only one...

It doesn't affect me but I must admit that I wish I could actually use the positioning for more than just gaming...if only Outlook,Excel and Word benefited from it then I would be an Office Killer of note!
