PC Link Computers: Legit?

I ordered a TV from them last week 27/01 as it was over R3k cheaper than anywhere else. I received it on Tuesday without any issues. However my order still shows as in process on their website. That is one aspect they can improve on.

Thanks for all the advice. After contacting my bank and then payfast, I got my refund. Case closed.

I now have the same problem. Bought something in December via direct visa credit card(not payfast), still not delivered. Its impossible to get hold of anybody. Products stay in processing status. What now? Ombudsman does not care at all - logged a case there, nobody responds. If one can't get hold of anyone, will lawyers even be able to do anything? Feel screwed.

You can try and contact them on support@pclinkshop.co.za. They respond there sometimes, and even if they respond it doesn't mean they are doing anything to correct the situation, we are sitting with a order that was faulty, then they sent the wrong replacement item and now the refund. This has been going on since end of October. For credit card payments you have 120 days to initiate a chargeback, hope that helps.

You used a credit card so initiate a chargeback.

Stay very far away from this place...
I've now been waiting for a RMA replacement or refund since January and they pretty much just ignore you when you try to contact them.

It will help many unsuspecting consumers if MyBroadband would do an investigative/exposé article into PC Link Computers. I had (still have) a bad experience with them and decided to resort to HelloPeter. What an eye opener: https://www.hellopeter.com/pc-link-computers
1282 ratings as of today with an overall score of 2.5 out of 10, that is an enormous amount of negative ratings relative to how small the business is.

If you filter one/two stars, like the first 12 pages are from 2022.
If each one of those were successful orders and now are people that didn't receive an order or refund, these guys have pocketed a TON of money so far. And they're still accepting new orders... :rolleyes::popcorn:

I've ordered from twice, in both occasions I didn't receive any of my orders. Fortunately, the first order was refunded, the second order wasn't. It's been weeks since I've sent them emails requesting a refund and they don't even respond!
Terrible customer service and quite possibly scammers
