So I have this weird problem. Since last night my PC is not recording any audio. It is picking up my new CM headset, as well as my old Gigabyte headset, but through both the front audio jack and USB ports, nothing is being recorded. I have a sneaky suspicion this may be driver related, but I haven't changed anything since I last used my PC.

Using Windows' troubleshooting tools doesn't help, and I am a bit stumped as to what to check next. Multiple reboots and driver updates haven't helped either.

Edit - Update. So how's this for weird? The only thing that is able to pull audio in is my logitech c920 webcam. Nothing else works. I tried unplugging all my devices. Plugging them back in. Different combinations. Nada. The only thing I have that works is the c920, even though the other devices all work on my laptop PC.

This happens, but sometimes you had it on privacy mic off all. However, that said, I've "fixed" my mic issues by getting one of the fifines with the stand and pop filter. At least now I can have my studio headpones on and use a decent and streaming like mic. Not cheap, but cheaper than wasting money on said gaming headpones for around 2k or more and still having a **** mic and **** drivers.

It was very weird. Literally went through every Window's setting and every damn driver trying to figure out what the hell was wrong. After randomly swapping my headsets around, it just decided to start working again...

But anyway, I have considered getting a standalone, but will need to get one with a stand. For now I have a new Coolermaster headset. My old one was coming apart anyway (literally, the one earpad kept on falling off).

Well, here's the one I got eventually

Just not from loot. Currently have it setup on its tripod not the arm.
