Yep you can use it.

signal at my place is at 100% without an antenna - I'll try and test it this weekend on a pc with a pcmcia converter!

PCI to PCMCIA Coonverter

I tested this card on an"older" 478pin P4 and it worked fine. I then upgraded to a new 775 3.2GHZ intel 915 based motherboard and it stopped working. It basically read the PCI card differently. It might be a required BIOS update, not sure. Anyway, just be aware that it might be motherboard specific.

Yeah pity-tested it today and it picked one of my older cards although all of them are working and same make/age but alas not the iburst card - there goes my idea of saving on a few bucks and still having the option of being mobile when i need it.

any vodacom shop that stock the 3g cards, and if memory serves me correctly they are around +-R200 (don't quote me on the prices).

I have seen some iburst resellers selling them for around R300, with the vodocom sticker all scrached out :)
