Weird but useful gadgets of CES 2023

This year's edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's biggest tech-focused expo, concluded on Sunday, 8 January 2023.

Many of the world's biggest tech companies use the event to showcase their latest cutting-edge gadgets that address daily life's challenges or simply make it more interesting.

Consumer Reports gave Displace TV a “Worst in Show” award over environmental concerns with its large lithium-ion battery packs.
How is built-in batteries worse than using solar energy stored in lithium batteries in your garage to power your TV?

For those who are really serious about their sneaker collection...
Ultimate posers? Want to look sporty, but not like you did actual sports?

I would buy ALL Withings products if it was available in SA.

Too expensive to import due to ANC tax.

And all designed to fail 1 day after the warranty ends, with spares being more expensive than a new replacement.
Can't afford one? Don't worry, there's always the store credit.

Heh, my wife ordered that Fluent Pet system a year ago from the US. Piece of cheap junk - standard gameshow buzzer buttons are waaaay better quality, cheaper, and let you play with your pet just as effectively.
