How awesome, I really smiled when I read this. Pedro deserves a chance, I think in the last few years he only drove once or twice as a reserve at McLaren, and he did well.

Sauber scored big time, sells his team to BMW just to buy it back a few years later at a fraction of the price, he he clever man.

There will be some great racing in 2010, can't wait.

I fear that at least one of the new privateer teams may fold within the first few months, unless the Cosworth engines prove to be super reliable and fast.
We saw it with Super Aguri.

But I think reliability will not be a problem, since they moved to 2.5L engines we've hardly seen blow outs, not like in the past.

And Brawn will not have the technical advantage they had the first half of 2009, so I think competitive racing will be at its peak. And then of course in steps MS……

LOL

Ya i also dig shummi but i also like alonso and massa. I would like to see massa do some good things again this year. Button and hamilton in the mix as well although i think button only did so well due to his good start and not because he is a legend :D. I also have started liking hamilton now, finally he has had a season in a rubbish car and that will make him into a better driver, could make him into a great as well.

I on the other hand am McLaren pure breed, we have 2 world champions so its good stakes.

But Michael has always been our true Nemesis so its fantastic that we get to race him again this year.

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that just with Schumi returning, they expect large increases in viewers :)

Killa, I gotta say, I like Massa as well.... Never felt so bad for a guy as I did when I saw his emotion on the podium when he was just outed by Hammy in Brazil. That is passion to win!! The teams are set with some excellent drivers this season.... going to be great!!

I seem to have missed where Kimi ended up... back to Maclaren?

No he is not in F1 he has gone to rally i think.

Yea loads of good drivers even kubica landed at renault i think and rosberg not sure where he is at but i just really hope we do not see one car dominant, must be 3-5 teams who can win rather than one team i hope.

It's going to be an epic season. I'm a big Schumi fan and if he doesn't take the championship I hope my second favourite, Sebastian Vettel, will.

You know, now that I think about it, there are actually a few guys I like... Webber, Vettel, Kubica, Schumi, Massa, Alonso (now that he's with Ferrari :D )... actually the only guys I don't like are Hammy and Button ;)

Rosberg landed the second Brawn seat alongside Michael, talk about pressure.

I would have preferred him to come to McLaren as he is a real racing gem, but i'll settle for Button.

Don't forget Red Bull either. They have been improving very quietly over the last few years and have a great driver pairing.

Seems Lewis Hamilton is favourite for next season. But I'll put my money on Alonso. See Ladbrokes odds below:

L Hamilton 5/2
F Alonso 7/2
M Schumacher 9/2
S Vettel 6/1
J Button 7/1
F Massa 9/1
N Rosberg 12/1
M Webber 20/1
R Kubica 33/1
R Barrichello 40/1

Fact that Schumacher is expected to have more chance than current world champion Button in a Mclaren makes me chuckle.

Well i think those odds are a bit premature and i would not bet on anything just yet dude.

I wonder at the same point last season what odd they gave on button being champion and lewis driving a tractor? :D

Button only won due to Brawn capitalizing on the cars technicalities at the beginning of last year. They won 5 of the first 6 races, and then only 1 of the last 6.

I think the odds are taken over a bigger span than just 2009, i see them fairly realistic.

That was my point though about the betting, nobody had a clue brawn would dominate early on. Their has been no testing, how do the bookies know the kind of cars the drivers will get :D.

They are just thumb sucking.

Probably based on driver starts+finishes+podiums+wins+points ratio.

Or something like that.

My money is still on Lewis, if the car performs he's like a bitch on heat.

Loads of people had money on lewis last year and then they realized for the first half of the season it would be more like farming with a tractor than racing in a GP :D
