As regards staying on topic... I had my say right at the start of today's "discussion"
So now you find it right to spoil it for everyone else!
As regards staying on topic... I had my say right at the start of today's "discussion"
hit them with a Schalk force .......Thats the crux against the All Blacks, cramp their style, disrupt their structered game play and then they fall apart.
Well no need really unless you enjoy watching Penguin hold conversations with himself like he just did above...![]()
Ha ha ha........ all one can do is shake one's head..... ha ha ha
Apparently all it is about is saying nothing of interest to anyone else and then coming back later and agreeing with your earlier comments as a desperate attempt to talk to someone... anyone!
I agree totally... that is exactly what I was saying earlier. I'm glad someone else agrees with me...
**First prize to the first person who can work out who I am impersonating!**

Oh and out of interest....if you bothered reading back you will see that I in fact did not once insult or attack you prior to this little out burst of yours! All I did was innocently respond to Timgaul... but as I said in another thread.... you appear to be infatuated with me.
One of the best hits today was John Smit on Brad Thorn after a quick line out throw!!
Anyone going to watch the battle for the wooden spoon (a.k.a. the Bledisloe Cup) next week?
When is the next Boks' game? I heard John Smit mention something about November?
Ha ha ha even sarcasm goes straight over some people's heads....
Penguin let's make a pact. You stop commenting on any posts of mine, or making incorrect reference's to me when it is in fact someone else's thread, and I'll do likewise with you.
My bet is on you not being able to resist the urge though...

Penguin let's make a pact. You stop commenting on any posts of mine, making incorrect reference's to me when it is in fact someone else's thread, or taking obvious little jibes at me, and I'll do likewise with you. I don't mind you doing it but you seem to be rather sensitive when someone gives it back to you.
My bet is on you not being able to resist the urge though...
OK, seriously, you have a habit of dragging me way down to your level so let's just sign that pact now.... first one who can't resist needs to start a thread admitting that they are as big an idiot as the other one knows they are. OK?
Let me butt in here. I read a comment in this thread that the Springbok success is attributable mainly to Jake White but you have to give credit to PdV, it takes a serious amount of effort to maintain the momentum and after the World Cup success, I think PdV has done very well to keep the Boks moving forward.
This is PdV's team and NOT Jake's team.
Fullstop.
I agree, So did others, I do think that all involved coaches played a huge role in the forming of this team, PDV just so much less so. I also stated and agreed that PDV seems a better manager than I thought, even a great manager, allowing the Boks to do what they do and supporting them at all costs and maybe his own peril. I do not think he is a technicall coach for that matter and had some big questions about some of his decissions. Today he surprised me with a few good decissions in selection and during the game and it concreted by prior arguments that I had against PDV.
Who cares now? WE WON and its now up to PDV to overcome the breeding local political storm and prove he is the greatest by winning us the Wold cup too.
I think PdV has done very well to keep the Boks moving forward.
True, but he's building on a team whose first successes were moulded by Jake White. Still, credit to PdV for winning the Tri Nations, we played like absolute champs throughout the competition.
What I like about him is that he's physically involved. They showed him training with the team a few nights back and he was really stuck in...running around, passing and sweating a bit. Good to see he's not one of those "sideline" coach types.
Jake White was praised to no end...weren't people kicking up a storm when they heard he was leaving and tried to convince him to stay? I remember people on blogs only having good things to say about him...It has become blatantly obvious though that some people will just not give him the full credit he deserves. It is actually a rather bizarre situation as I have never before heard the previous coach, or the support coaching staff, being given so much credit when a team does well. It really does seem like a bit of a vendetta against PdV. I have no idea why...
