They already are. The US overtook Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the biggest oil producer last year. There was also a week when they were a net oil exporter.

Theoretically it can also remain unchanged ...
This reminds me of one of times in a casino.

They had a loyalty card that gave points for every bet made. So I thought I was smart, went to the electronic roulette, and bet R50 red and R50 black each time, so getting my money back *and* getting points on the R100 bet.

Just when I thought I was breaking the system a few spins in, it landed on green and I lost my R100

Everyone saying the oil price is up, also need to check the rand/dollar rate as the rand has also strengthened this month.

Clearly the anc have been tampering with international oil prices for the increase.
You guys don't seem to realise the ANC is more powerful than the Illuminati. More powerful even than the Lizard People.

Eish, go compare the percentage that the Rand has strengthened Vs the percentage the oil price increased.

I'm not gonna hold my breath while hoping that the Rands strengthens even more. In a few weeks time it's bound to take a headlong dive.

However, thanks to the strengthening rand, the increase is expected to be limited. The predicted price changes are:
  • Petrol – 8c per litre increase
  • Diesel – 3c per litre decrease
  • Paraffin – 9c per litre decrease

Not too bad, hopefully final figures don't wander too far from this.
