PFA Awards

I thought that was a joke but checked in it now :/

More of a reward for his 18 year career than how he's performed this season.

12 starts and one goal = PFA award :p
 
OMW - that is so wrong. Why can;t they give him a medal for services to football at the end of his career??? This just proves that footballers are idiots.
 
I can't belive it wasn't Vidic. I mean seriously. That is so wrong on so many levels.

omg how the heck does a guy who only started 12 games scored 1 goal win the PFA player of the year, Gerrard 13 goals in 26 app this year lampard 12 goals 31 app ,ronaldo 17 goals 30 app ,not forgetting Vidic awesome season he had at the back ,i find it disgusting to give someone a sentimental award ,because he should have won it when he was in his prime :sick:

The vote was taken in February 2009 which was when Man U was on a run of 10+ game winning streak and it was when Man U were clear favourites on top of the log.

That means that it's not the FA who are deluded, it's the players themselves.;)
Probably lots of Man United supporters amongst them.

Giggs has put in some awesome performances in the 12 matches and 12 sub's... but I dunno winning the PFA? I think Vidic shuold have been given this award but I guess as Genius kept saying defenders means nothing in Football...

Yes.

While it is "nice" that he was awarded it - it was not realistic. Lampard, Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and Vidic all played more and had greater impacts on their teams.

but that's my point....Zuma is a realistic president yeah right! but you cant do anything about it and the supporters of the party are happy...so why debate something that needs no debating!
