Phedra-cut for energy: Is this a bad idea?

There is so much I want to do every day, but I just never seem to have enough time.

In the evenings after work I stay up later than I should because there are still so many things I want to do before going to bed but then I end up getting too little sleep with the result that I feel tired the next day.

I'm thinking of starting a law degree through UNISA next year but that's a tough degree with a heavy work load.

So I'm wondering how I can get more energy or more hours in the day.

I've heard that Phedra-cut taken by bodybuilders is a stimulant. Though I suspect it may work in the short run, but end badly in the long run.

Why don't you go for something like McNab's Energy Tabs.

I have tried them before and they really work.

No ... you lacking energy because you deficient in some form of vitamin. Multivitamins are a waste of time the quantities are so small if you deficient it really doesnt fix anything.

For example Bco supplements dont do much. I would recommend you get a shot of B12 and perhaps some calciferol (see swa this is when you recommend vitD).

Using stimulants can only be a quick fix and then when you off the stimulant you will be exhausted, so rather optimize your day then try to extend it

I would stay away. Stuff really does make your heart rate increase... Not to mention the palpitations... From what I understand, it is used to stimulate the thyroid so as to increase metabolism.... That way burn fat. It is used more for with loss then energy

Even the bottle says use a few days and skip.... Definitely not good in the long run

If you don't have heart problems, then it's good to use for energy.
I often taken Hydrocuts (Evox's fat burners, find them much better) for energy - works great

The new phedra cuts don't have the original stimulant it was banned so they not that potent anymore they use caffeine to achieve their boost

It's not just caffeine, the ephedrine replacement (synephrine) is a key ingredient.

I used to use the “Nightmare” tabs from Supplement SA, it has DMAA, it gives you a major boost, but like RiaX said, once you stop using it you crash, i have not used it for 3 days now, im tired and drained from all energy, it sucks!

Wouldn't it be a better idea to just start eating properly, more healthy and going to bed a little earlier?

I've always thought tablets are short-term and like above, once you're off them, you're useless as you just crash?

I would stay away from those stuff.. friend of my brother used those products intensively and he now has some sort of liver damage or something in that line! :wtf:

Just eat properly, cut sugar and heavy alcohol usage and you'll be fine

that thing is useless.

Agreed. I found some bottles from 2002 "Xenadrine" this was US Supplement of ephedrine, now banned. It worked a treat if you used it for purpose intended. I once had a body builder flatmate and a ballarina and they would get some kind of racehorse ephidrine from the pharmacy- supposedly helps the horses breathe during a bleed or sumsuch. The things people do them selves...

I need about ten hours of sleep per day while average people only need eight hours of sleep per day so I'm at a disadvantage.

no you dont, cut your sleep instead. Over sleeping has the same side effects as lack of sleep
