Philips 5000 Series 42" On special at HifiCorp: Is this good or bad?

I dont know much on LCD tv's... just that I need one.

This is on special for R10 000 (save R3k) from HiFiCorp.
Would appreciate any feedback on this brand and price.

For that money there is better deals frequently. Small screen for the price. No 100HZ
