Very much don't want.

Only 2560x1600 resolution, what is this, late 2008?

I've been using 2560x1600 27" samsung panels for at least 7-8 years now.
Daddy wants his resolution. 4k or more. None of this low res crap, especially if its 32".

For that size I'd want a 4k screen with SST (MST is buggy crap), and an IPS panel, and if wishes were coming true, true 10bit panel, not the FRC 8bit+ fakery "10 bit" lie

The philips is an MVA panel though - so colors should be decent, but the better option is by far their 40" 4k MVA set - the bdm4065uc.

My 4k monitor choices are currently

Samsung U28D590 or the AOC U2868PQU for low end, as those are both cheaper TN panels (where I am right now they're about R6000 or so).
The Dell P2415Q or P2715Q are probably what I'm getting though, as IPS is the best option, but those are closer to 8-9k rands a pop.

If I had 10k to spend, the VP2780-4K isn't bad either, finally a display with HDMI2!

My issue is that I'll also need to get a better cpu for my box - W3680 or W3690, and a GTX980 to drive the screens.
CPU's aren't too $$, but the gfx card pricing does hurt...

I'm in the same boat.

My next monitor will be 4K and 40 inches. What i want more than anything is a lot more screen real estate. 2560x1600 27" just seems way too small after having used it for a few years.
