While I think having a photo competition is a great idea and there have been some awesome images posted so far I would just like to make a few recommendations for next time round....

• Have a set theme
• Set dimension requirements for all entries (prevents some people posting 10mp images which chow cap and take forever to load)
• Require exif metadata to be intact on uploaded images for verificaiton
• Set limit to number of entries per member

I know some people don't like the idea of having rules in place but it just makes things go smoother and makes judges jobs easier....

It took me more than 2 hours sitting waiting for the perfect shot and the lightning converged over Table Mountain, Cape Town. By then I was frozen but I got the shot!! My heart was racing once I looked down and saw it on the viewfinder..

boy, tell me about it. On the Spiderman shot I had to push the child off the roof and run down stairs to get the shot of spiderman catching her, ALL IN FOCUS NOGAL!!
