I had only one thing on my mind while reading the article: How do they plan on ensuring people actually buy the items and not just walk out without paying......

They all over Europe even in high theft areas, they still manned, one or two staff members are still needed for alcohol, issues, overides etc. and there cameras on each checkout monitored by security.

That play area in the food court at Mall of Africa has made me gag since it opened. Imagine all that saliva and germs from kids and then they put their hands in it...
