PHP/MySQL Developers Required - Durban OR Cape Town

Positions: Skilled Mid - Senior level PHP developers.

Location: Morningside, Durban
Location: Observatory, Cape Town

Salary: Range from R30K-R50K per month depending on skills and experience (cost-to-company)

Starting: Positions available immediately.

Hi Folks,

• I posted the same ad a few weeks back, for Cape Town only.
• We now need at least one developer for our Durban office.

We are a small to medium sized IT Development Company that writes and supports Web Based Business Application Services in 15 countries across Africa for a large Oil Industry client.

We are undergoing an expansion of our contracts, and need to ramp up the numbers in our development team.

We are are on the lookout for mid-level to senior, smart and quick thinking PHP/MySQL developers to either:
[1] join our coding team in Observatory, Cape Town.
[2] work with our project management team in Morningside, Durban

You'll be working on large, complex and exciting projects with the latest open-source technologies in a fast paced environment. Interested developers should be hard-working coders that are passionate about web development and technology, are able to learn speedily and problem solve naturally.

You MUST have the following skills/experience:

• 3-5 years PHP/MySQL development (Wordpress/Drupal development does not count)
• 2+ HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery
• Solid understanding of both front and back end development using PHP
• Solid understanding/experience of MVC and Source Control (GIT)
• Solid understanding/experience of Test driven development and Unit testing
• Laravel and/or CodeIgniter experience beneficial.
• Understanding of Agile development / processes
• Qualifications: relevant Diploma/Degree i.e. Computer science, Information Systems etc
• Effective communication skills (in English)
• Self-motivated and high attention to detail
• Analytical and Mathematical approach
