Although the idea of planting explosive charges appeals I am more interested in figuring if I have line of site with any of them. I did some testing on the east rand with my UTD and external antennae and managed to get the best speeds I have ever experienced when my UTD is not jumping between 5 or more base stations. For some reason where I am situated I pick up very similar signals from four or more most of the time and it seems to be the switching between them that causes my speed issues.
I get 100% signal strength all the time with the standard aerial and slow speeds yet when using external antennae I get around 70 signal depending on where I am pointing and get far better speeds that when at 100% signal.
