It's no longer a matter of opinion.
.
Sadly, this is true, but what is worse is how more and more things are becoming less and less a matter of fact and more of opinion.

LMAO. I'm not going to court for anything.Good luck with that argument in court. The arguments for and against have been heard, and the law against corporal punishment is a fact.
And LOL at a hiding not being violence or physical assault. Again, good luck at making the argument in court.

Point me to those arguments and show me the factual evidence and I will happily change my mind as I am always open to better ideas/ways to improve my life. As for me, my parents gave me hidings in the right scenario and conditions so I know it works. I have also had a couple of lashes in school for misbehaving. You can LOL all you want at physical violence and physical assault, there are clear and concise differences in intent between violence/assault and physical discipline.Good luck with that argument in court. Some people fail to see the difference. They believe physical discipline is an enraged uncontrolled act.
These people should probably not have children at all in my opinion because they themselves probably get frustrated and enraged with their kids in order to draw that similarity.

Yeah, just take all the kids away from their parents and let the state raise them. That is obviously better.Good luck with that argument in court. The arguments for and against have been heard, and the law against corporal punishment is a fact.

If these conclusions and papers of experts in the field do not suffice, then 'happily change' your 'mind' is, in my opinion, not true.

What about adult spanking?
Lol, the snowflakes must be dribbling in their pants that this is being passed ...... just the thread alone has a fair few of them
A consent form completed in triplicate, signed and notarised by involved parties, or maybe just a clearly visible disclaimer in 11 official languages at the door. But get legal advise on this to be sure.

@Sweevo is gonna have a field day about this. He's the author of the well known book "So You Raised a Snowflake".
Though I do believe this will raise a generation where there is no reasonable belief that there will be any consequences.
Good step, but I doubt whether it is actually enforceable.
The same way you discipline an adult. You exclude them from social interaction.
To be fair, some children were raised with corporal punishment and turned out perfectly fine.

Throwing someone with 100grams of polystyrene or a scatter cushion is assault as well. Bunch of pansies that take it as such.
If your kid thinks getting a hiding is encouraging violence, then you have bigger problems.
