Pick n Pay is opening new up-market stores to go after Woolworths

Retailer Pick n Pay has published its financial results for the six months ended 29 August 2021, with the group reporting strong results after a period impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and social unrest.

I wish PnP would rather improve their normal stores. Purely subjective and store dependent, but in my experience queues at PnP usually take longer than at Checkers. Ebucks was a nice incentive to do some shopping at Checkers, but the faster queues convinced me to stay.

Yeah 'Woolies' is just ridiculous with their pricing. Im sorry but a tomato is a tomato and I do not taste the difference between a round red one from either shop.
