Pick n Pay vehicle licence disc renewal service fee slashed

R250 is a case of Black Label quarts
No thanx, I will go stand 2hrs in the queue once a year anyday

Might be worth it - not sure what other options there are in the EC. The Post offices are a nightmare with all the grant recipients queuing.

Nobody deserves to have to drink Black Label.

In my case their business model does not make sense. Why would I walk past the Post Office to the Pick 'n Pay and stand in their long queues just to pay for a renewal and then have to wait 10 days for delivery?

At the PO I'll get it immediately. And their queues are shorter than PnP's. If PnP's service was 100% online, then yes, it would make a big difference.

Who’s your banker?

But then how would you know the vehicle is licensed if the cop can't look in the right place on the windscreen to see the Disc...

Also how else would you get people to pay their R70 odd rand admin fee to print a piece of paper

The plates of the vehicle are linked to the license, so any smartphone should be able to verify the status through NaTIS.

But like really, you expect the police officer to use technology and that that technology will still be working after 3 days?
