If Venice and the Netherlands can hold back the water, so can we. ;)

Looks like they predict the water will just calmly roll in between the buildings ... yea right.

The Gulf Stream Current is slowing down.

What it will do when it stops?

Currents stops. Shipping basically slows down

And then...

Watch the Day after Tomorrow. It would leave the Northern Hemisphere in an Ice Age. Yip nice and cold.

Its pretty much whats going to happen when it stops. It does so naturally to realign the weather, this time the curve is much higher.

Well that movie is extreme.. Ie I doubt we ever see those cyclone but yea.. the north returning to Ice age is likely.. but it’s a much longer process where we likely mostly die due to changes.

The movie premise of a quick reset is actually a merciful way.. quick and we continue on.l with life.

No such luck in the real world. Scary thing is that if the science is right, we as a species have changed the rotational axis (water vs ice & center of mass impact). Don’t be surprised if volcanos becoming more active is part of it.

Are they playing the Photoshop game?

Scientist told us in the 80's, that sea levels is rising, and they warned that the sea will rise 2meters every 10 or 20 years. I still fish on the same spots since then (over 30 years), haven't noticed a centimeter rise. Only difference is, more rich people building houses next to the sea.
