South Africa may well have it's own Pirate Party by the next election!

The idea is not to promote illegal behavior, but to change laws for the betterment of all. Not to break the possibility of commerce, but to set it right, to decriminalize our families and friends, to save lives with medicines, to save privacy as an ideal for our children and ourselves.

I have actually wondered about this before ... so well done for getting this going, one thing - perhaps refomation of the telecoms industry could be added to the agenda?

Generally, caution should be applied to adding to the goals of the Pirate Parties, but I think it may be a good idea to discuss adding Telekoms reform as it is a highly prevalent goal anyway. Just add it as a topic on the forums and let's see where it goes from there.

While I would be all for it, relevance may be a problem. I mean, how would we make it an aim and include it, what is the goal exactly?

Who cares? Plain fact: politics is a farce. Anything with Pirate in its name has to be a good thing... bit like GreenPEACE or the greens (or whatever.)

... and Pirate in all senses of the word... historical, allegorical - now.
