Okay, it seems like I lied - P2P 760kbps - 1.62mbps
I think I must just shutup and enjoy it while it lasts.

Well I would certainly expect these results, since it's the ONLY unshaped part of my connection. So there ya have it. DAH!

Results:
Below is the data used to calculate your download speed:

Download time: 9.094 seconds
Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
Estimated line speed: 448.6 (kilobits/second)
Estimated line speed: 55 (kiloBytes/second)

Now give me a test which tests protocols used by WoW on 2pm any weekday. I'm predicting something like this:

Download time: 304.254 seconds
Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
Estimated line speed: 1.6 (kilobits/second)
Estimated line speed: 0.2 (kiloBytes/second)

meh.. i'm busy turning my thing off and on .. seems not to work perhaps beging of month it won't. Anyways as long as you don't turn off your router ie loose synch it will retain those speeds based on what i can tell.

Cache issue

For everyone who is getting higher speeds than they "should" be getting, (based on line speed) just be thankful that telskums screw-ups are having a positive effect on you :D

And on the same note, those results are not browser cached. Cache speeds would show your HDD/RAM speeds which are usually in excess of 10 MegaBYTES per second ... so you're looking at a speed in excess of 80 million bits ....

Cached speeds are when you get reports of having a T1 connection when using 56k to do a speed test :p

Since yesterday I have been getting the following speed:

384k adsl :: 880 Kbps or 110 kBytes/sec

Why upgrade, when Telkom delivers it for free? lol

My 512k on same exchange still run 55k max
