No, nudda, nothing
What's even more stranger is my p2p speeds - consistent 1.5mbps.
Don't get met wrong, I'm not complaining.

meh.. i'm busy turning my thing off and on .. seems not to work perhaps beging of month it won't. Anyways as long as you don't turn off your router ie loose synch it will retain those speeds based on what i can tell.

Try this test site's for accurate measurement. Compares with telkom test..............Not bad (I mean the test not the line speed.......sucks on a 1024)

Cache issue

For everyone who is getting higher speeds than they "should" be getting, (based on line speed) just be thankful that telskums screw-ups are having a positive effect on you

And on the same note, those results are not browser cached. Cache speeds would show your HDD/RAM speeds which are usually in excess of 10 MegaBYTES per second ... so you're looking at a speed in excess of 80 million bits ....

Cached speeds are when you get reports of having a T1 connection when using 56k to do a speed test
