Would be so much more understandable if they called it an ADSL Port instead of a line to avoid confusion like this.

This. And if they said on the bill DSL Fast (Line)/DSL Fast(Data) to avoid ambiguity.

On your bill you should have two line items:

Your telephone line at 165.79 ex VAT – This is your phone line rental
DSL fast at 144.74 ex VAT - This is your DSL rental - NO DATA

That's the way it should be. Please make sure that your ISP is not charging you a line rental and is simply charging you for an account.

Yeah. On Crystalweb I'm sorted, no hassles whatsoever, and their bills are very nice and descriptive.
