Hi, once a week this company phones me , and the person says, we got your number as a reference from someone. [they don't want to say who].
Then they start to tell me how the banks is getting rich, and with their share program I can become rich too. Then , sir what time tomorrow can one of our agents come and see you, 8, 10, 12 etc, etc. They don't seem to understand the word, No I am not interested. Then when they make the appointment, I let them make it any time, then tell them I am in another city. then a simple , we will phone you next time.
What should I tell them? , something friendly , not root.

I cannot block their call, coming from different numbers.

When you answer the call and hear who it is just leave the phone on your desk, counter or wherever you are so you don't hear what they're saying. After a while they'll realise you aren't listening. They'll hang up and eventually stop phoning.

(1) Make the appointment.
(2) Let them come to you. <- give the wrong and inconvenient address
(3) ???? Smash his face in with a brick.
(4) Profit.

I have two management techniques for these circumstances, bar the usual swearing. The first is to talk with a stutter. Take over a minute to say "Sounds interesting" for example. It will become far more frustrating him to talk to you than it will be for you to endure this drivel. The second is to feign hearing impairment. Make them repeat everything at least three times. Very annoying.

I always do that. It works good. Seems like they tick your number off as a dead end.

If you have time get a voice changer like bane or something and have fun.

I did this and started getting spammed a lot - for my wife's phone and my own. Cue conspiracy theory, but it really did happen...

Worked for me and everyone I gave the details to.

They've been phoning me every month for over a year. This trick does make them terminate the call eventually, but next month they call again...

I'm actually starting to enjoy the cat-and-mouse game every month. They don't chat very long, because the goal seems to be to get you go agree to the meeting. So far we have yet to hit it off on that one :)

Someone else got hacked too?...that makes it OK I guess.

Still wondering wth you guys do to get so many calls. I don't think I've gotten one the last 3 months. Couple of SMSs though...especially since switching over to Vodacom

You have to show them how serious you take their stalking by ignoring them like the plague. If you are not used to pissing people off then you have to start practising the GTFO principle.
