Hi, i am in the market to buy a car. I found one that i really liked, contacted the dealer and got finance approval. He said that he would invoice the bank in the meantime, I haven't yet seen the car in person, so I asked him not to go ahead yet, until I see the car and test drive it. But he insisted. What happens if i see the car and I don't like it, am i obligated to take it, I haven't signed any paper work yet. I am just worried because he insisted on getting the contract from the bank in the meantime.
I have been shopping around and I might have found a better deal at another dealership, will i be able to get the other car if the first dealership already invoiced the bank.

Sounds like the guy is trying to pressure you into making the purchase.

If you haven't signed anything you're fine.

We are approaching month end and he is probably trying to get the deal ready for payout ASAP if you go ahead so he can get paid commission next month.

That being said, at the dealership I worked at you couldn't invoice unless the customer signed an OTP or RTP.
