Please how do i downgrade

I want to downgrade to the 1 gig package can anyone tell me how to best do this as I busrt dont seem capabale of answering phone calls.

Also can anyone tell me the current total cost of the cheapest Telkom adsl, all inclusive.

Hi,
I had the same issue at hand a couple of months ago.
If you are with a reseller - should be easy - you must just inform them that you wish the downgrade. If you signed up straight with WBS you'd most probably have to cancel your 3GB account and sign up for a 1GB one.

LMAO so i call WBS again and im informed they dont do downgrades. So i ask how i cancel my account and i am asked very nicely please not to do that and they will call me tomorrow and try and sort the problem out lol.

Ok now officially a worse expeience than TELKOM and that says alot.

I spoke to Pinki (I think that's the name) yesterday and Marylyn (who gave me a ticket) and was todl to send a fax/e-mail stating reasons to cancel and they will refund the UTC and all ... still waiting for someone to contact me on my cancellation and the ticket. Pinki promised to call until the end of the business day but in the spirit of the corporate culture at WBS - she did not fulfill the promise.

My advice to you - do not give in to pressure to stay. My personal experience is WBS kept me on the line for 7 months with promises that things will improve and finally after even their radio guys failed to improve my speeds - I am cancelling. I am not saying your experience will be exactly the same, but chances are you'll be bulled by them for a long time b4 anything is done.
