Personally, I don’t trust reports like these, there is a believability test. Furthermore, it must be decided to deem it in secrecy, and act in the nation’s best interests, or make it known in the public interest. How this report came to be, I don’t know, but I do believe that the state wants the recent events to be deemed as an insurrection, why, they know, but I am not sold on the idea that the mass action was to overthrow the government and to undermine state security. What is known is that there was vast miscommunication, and that not a single security agency (incl. the NPA) has been on the same level, why? Yes, the SSA has being drawn into the presidency, but rumours about some event this month has been around a while now.
The best Netwerk24 could have done was to post the leak, but they opted to write a loose article about it and placed it behind a paywall, how patriotic is that?
You can’t make a conclusion on a given conclusion without knowing on what those conclusions were based. The state hasn’t even decisively dealt with their current alleged instigators…
From my view, the recent events are still tied to organised crime with political connections, a power play to capitalise on the chaos, and it’s pending results like new, and more, progressive policies, etc.
The big concern remains the police designated ammo container which was heisted whilst under police protection, which is odd AF, but no noise is being made about it??? Yet, Cele recovered some bullets in a vehicle’s trunk, how PR is that?
New plan… a month ago the security cluster was clueless, they knew, but also didn’t know. Just saying.
All I am seeing is that the state ‘leaking' this is to make them seem to be doing something about something, something which may very well be insubstantial.
Don’t tell me that the actual report or the national order cannot be published when a story is published about it. The citizens are being treated like little children.
Nonetheless, stay real out there, but SA have always been dampened in some evil coming at night in your sleep... these tales regularly makes it way into any thread on Mybroadband and social media.
