We have a broadband wireless router, a D-Link 724+. Since we're switching from Sentech (yay!), I'll need to get an ADSL modem. Rather than replaing the router with a wireless ADSL router, can I just buy an ethernet ADSL router (like the D-Link DSL-300T) and plug it into the broadband router? Will it use DHCP to get an IP address, or would I need to change it manually?

Perfectly fine, it will grab an address(192 or 10 or 169 range) from the original router and use it as primary DNS and default Gateway..PC's you plug into the new router will grab an address accordingly from the new router, again private addresses.
Only configuration you will need is if you want to set up a DMZ or port forwarding etc etc, but out of the box you will be sorted.
