The police minister has faced criticism for his stringent enforcement of lockdown regulations, with over 400,000 people arrested for breaking South Africa’s Covid-19 rules up until April 2021.

The curfew is just a waste of time at the moment. They should cancel it completely. Maybe in Level 4-5 but i think those levels of restriction are for the history books now. We need to be on our way out of enforced reactions to the virus and rather the plans to live with it without impacting freedoms (within reason, like masks indoors may linger far longer than curfew for example).
