I noticed that a bit of mud is starting to fly around the threads of political parties and their stand regarding ADSL/Telkom/ICASA.
It would be much better to keep the lines to the political parties hot so they will respond fast when anything of importance happens.
Every media release of these parties could open a new flurry of reporting - they are important to the cause of affordable ADSL (and telephones) in SA.
A few things that could happen in the next week or so:
ICASA & Telkom secrecy - interresting situation developing
ICASA vs Telkom - are the going to swim or sink?
The "rumoured" new rates fo 1 November could be confirmed or rejected
Those with the required connections, please keep the contacts hot, and keep educating these people.
